Meet the famous Pudsey Bear at this year's Downend Fireworks event!
Along with a seperate display for kids, to make the event really extra special, GWRT have organised BBC Children in Need's Pudsey Bear to be at the show. We also have laid on 'designated area' where the kids can buy sparklers and use them under supervision.
So, where does all the money raised go? The answer is simples.

King George V Playing Fields, Sutherland Avenue, Downend, Bristol. There are two entrances for your convenience. Entrance one is located off of Sutherland Road and Entrance two is off of Westerleigh Road. Check out our detailed Google Map here.

Local legend, Sherrie Eugene Hart
Bristol born Sherrie Eugene has worked in British broadcasting all her adult life. She celebrated 25 years in the industry last year and at one stage was arguably the most recognisable face of local TV. Sherrie spends much of her time supporting many charitable groups in the community and is Patron to Hearing Dogs for the deaf, Child Time, OSCAR, Bristol Athletic and South West Adoption Network. She also chairs St Nicholas Pastoral Council, UWE Diversity Committee and is a board member for The City Academy Bristol, and UWE.
